(Overdue) Birthday Book Haul!

So this is about a month overdue. Between holidays (my birthday is two days before Christmas and then with New Years right after that) and classes starting the first full week of January, I was crammed for time and stressed over this being my final semester of University (finally). But! Now I have a little bit of free time and instead of slotting in some reading time, I’m going to unpack the haul of books I got for my birthday. As per usual, I went extremely overboard. Let’s get started!

Starting with the hardcovers, we’ve got Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (which I have been wanting for a while, being a fangirl myself and a slightly obsessive fanfiction writer and reader), and Zodiac by Romina Russell.

Next is City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare, the (gigantic) sixth book in The Mortal Instruments series, and then The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter, the third book in the White Rabbit Chronicles series.

Moving onto the paperback books, we’ve got The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and Antigoddess by Kendare Blake.

Following those two are The Coldest Girl In Coldtown by Holly Black, Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken, the second book in The Darkest Minds trilogy (trilogy? series? does it end after three?), and The Selection by Kiera Cass.

And finally we have the beautiful covers of Splintered and Unhinged by A.G. Howard, books one and two in the Splintered series.

And that’s the end of my birthday book haul! I think I made out well and I’m very happy with my purchases. At least, so far I am. I’ll know the final verdict after I’ve read them all. Onto the TBR shelves they go!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo Nova
