August 2015 Wrap-Up

I have been so unbelievably busy this past month, it’s a wonder I’ve managed to get any reading done and why this post is so late. Alas, here it is, and I’m sorry it’s so short!

The first book I read this month was I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. This book was everything it was cracked up to be and then some. I got so emotionally invested in the characters, it was kind of ridiculous. I’ll be doing a review of it on here once I have the time.

The next book I read was Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. I also loved this book, despite being kind of frustrated with both Ari and Dante on and off as I read. I ended up really, really enjoying it. This one will also be getting a review before long, so stay tuned!

And finally this month, I read The Last Ever After by Soman Chainani. This book was a big’un. I remember reading it pretty fast, and then getting so busy the rest of the month that I just didn’t have time for anything. I did review this one, however! You can find the review here, and be wary of slight spoilers!

I did get about 10 pages from finishing another book in August, but then… time. It was a thing I just didn’t have. So, it’ll be on this month’s wrap-up!
