The “I’m Going on Vacation!” Book List

That’s right, I’m going on vacation up to visit a friend in Virginia. For me, that means a whole week of unsolicited binge-reading with a side of friend. I’ll actually probably be doing most of this reading while on my flight, since I’ve got a 3-hour layover in Atlanta, GA, but said friend has some books she wants me to read while I’m there, so there will be some reading while I’m there!

Anyway, here’s what I’m bringing with me, in addition to what I am reading at her request:

These three books had been listed in my 15 Books I Want to Read in 2015, and I think it’s about time I get onto reading them. I have them all in small paperback forms. The Jenna Fox Chronicles Trilogy by Mary E. Pearson is a series I’ve really been wanting to read now that I have all of them, and each one is about 250-300 pages, so I think they’re a pretty good choice to both take with me and to use to knockout some more books for my TBR Jar/Goodreads Reading challenge. (I’ll get back on my TBR jar challenge one day. Promise.)

The other book I’m planning on reading is A Parchment of Leaves by Silas House (I think this is the correct book) at the request of said friend that I am visiting. I know absolutely nothing about the book other than she really liked it, and she kind of a picky reader so I’m interested in giving it a go. We have really different tastes, so it’ll be interesting to see how I like it compared to how she likes it.

Other books I may or may not be reading include The Hannibal series (in exchange for her reading Fangirl and Carry On), and possibly the new Welcome to Night Vale book. Depends on if I have time! We’ll see how far I get.

That’s all for this one. Thanks for reading!
