Holy cow, the year is over! Why is everything going so fast, I feel like I’m steadily losing more and more time to get things done without actually losing any time at all.
Maybe I’m getting lazier. Or older. Maybe just both.
This month I read nine books, only two of which I could count for my reading goal since I’ve read Harry Potter already and can’t count it for two years when doing reading goals. (I really hope they change this one day! I’ve suggested it, but that was two years ago…)
Here’s what I read!
Acne, Asthma, And Other Signs You Might Be Half Dragon
by Rena Rocford
Goodreads || Book Depository || Review
This was the first book I read in the month, provided by Netgalley. I only gave it 2 out of 5 stars since I wasn’t all that thrilled with it, but the cover’s absolutely beautiful. You can read more about what I thought in the review, linked above.
Soundless by Richelle Mead
Goodreads || Book Depository
The second book I read was Soundless, which also didn’t quite live up to expectations on my end, but has a really pretty cover. I didn’t do a review for this one, but I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.
And finally I read the Harry Potter series with my friend, who had not read Harry Potter in years. I wanted to fix that. They were just as amazing as they’ve always been, and I severely hope Rowling decides to add to the series in some form. (Marauders’ Era? Maybe? Please?)
And that’s everything I read this month! I’m hoping I can do as well in the coming months of 2016, because I’ve got a big goal in store for myself and will be needing some serious motivation to read like I did this month.
Wish me luck and stay tuned for my New Year’s Reading Resolutions!
Thanks for reading!
