Day two of Bout of Books! Man, I’ve forgotten how much I love doing this readathon. I’m still currently plowing my way through my second book, about 2/3rds of the way finished with it now. Not as good as that first day, but almost! This is a longer book I’m working on.
Anyway, the challenge! Today’s challenge is hosted by Writing My Own Fairytale, and the name of the game is Would You Rather. Let’s do this.
Would you rather:
Lend books to someone who dog-ears pages or to someone who reads with cheesy Cheetos fingers?
Oh this is evil. Neither, thank you very much. I have strict rules to give when my books are lent out, and neither of those pass judgement.
… Dog-earing.
Would you rather:
Be able to meet one character of your choice or meet one author of your choice?
Character. I love authors and all, but I always feel more strong connections with the characters than I do the people writing the stories. Not sure how sane that is, but whatever. I never claimed perfect sanity.
Would you rather:
Never be allowed in a book store again or never be allowed in a library again?
Library, because, even though you have to pay for the books, there’s always a bookstore somewhere I can have access to. That’s not the case with libraries.
Would you rather:
Have to choose one of your favorite characters to die in their book or have to pick one of your favorite couples to break up in their book?
Aaauuugh. I don’t like this one. Break up, I guess, because then at least they’re still alive. I’m attached to the people in the couple, not just the relationship itself.
😦
Would you rather:
Be required to read Twilight once a year for the rest of your life or The Scarlet Letter once a year for the rest of your life?
Twilight. I enjoyed that for at least a while. I never enjoyed The Scarlet Letter a single time in my life.
And that was day two of Bout of Books 15! They’re still accepting sign-ups if you’re interested, so hurry up! It’s a lot of fun, highly recommend popping in and giving it a go if you haven’t before.
Thanks for reading, and see you tomorrow!
I would have to give up libraries too! And I would choose Twilight as well:)

You just can’t have access to every library like you can a bookstore! That was my reasoning, anyway 😀
