Top 5 Wednesday | Top Book Covers

I’ve decided to start taking part in Top Five Wednesday, which is a weekly meme hosted by GingerReadsLainey over on Goodreads, in an effort to be more active on my blog. However, my luck, I don’t have any answers for this week’s prompt… so. I’m going to do a past one instead, and then continue the trend whenever I can’t answer one of the prompts. Is that allowed? I don’t know. I’m doing it anyway.

I decided to go back and pick one of the topics I knew I could do, and, as you can see from the title, I chose Top 5 Book Covers, because I have some pretty book covers in my collection.

The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy by Laini Taylor

Starters by Lissa Price, before they revamped the damn covers. I love this over so much, and it’s even better in person, because it’s shiny.

The first two books in Beth Revis’ Across the Universe trilogy. The cover change for the final book might be the cover change I have ever been the most angry about. I hate the new covers, and I was dying to see what the third one was going to be before they changed them. (Please re-release the third book in a matching cover. I’ll buy it.)

As if my thing for space wasn’t obvious enough, here’s more to solidify it. The covers for the Starbound trilogy by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner are gorgeous and will be displayed fully on my bookshelves once I have more room.

And, finally, because they are amazingly vivid and pretty, I chose the covers of the Splintered trilogy by A. G. Howard for my final pick. I could stare at these for days.

And that’s all for this first attempt. Sorry it wasn’t for the proper week, but I couldn’t do the prompt justice!

Thanks for reading!
