If you follow my Instagram, you saw me mention a book haul. This is that book haul, and here’s what I picked up:
The first thing I bought are the sequels to These Broken Stars, This Shattered World and Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, because I just couldn’t not buy them after realizing I only owned These Broken Stars. I adore the covers.
Next I picked up Wandering Star by Romina Russell despite not having read the first book yet. Why? Space covers. I’m a mess, and I’m so sorry.
Next I picked up Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir because of peer pressure and black pages. Those pages on Six of Crows really are awesome.
Finally, I picked up A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E. Schwab. I actually purchased this last month, but I didn’t want to do a post for a single book, so I waited until I had enough for a haul of sorts to bring it out.
(I really will restrain myself after this, I have so many books I already need to read and this is so bad of me. I’m now behind on my read-five-before-you-buy resolution by… 21 books. Shit.)
Did you buy any books this month? I know I can’t be the only book-binger, I see you. I see you, seeing me, seeing you.
… Anyway, thanks for reading!
Being a reader means never having to say you’re sorry for going crazy on a book shopping spree! 😀

My birthday is February 18th, so even though I told myself no more book buying until break in January I’ve broken that resolution in the name of buying myself some birthday presents. I’ve bought 7 books this far! I really need to calm down since my TBR shelf is at least as tall as I am!

I think that’s a fair reason to break a resolution, your birthday only comes once a year!
