Top Five Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by GingerReadsLainey over on Goodreads. This week’s topic is Worst Love Interests and… whew, do I have a mouthful for this one. I’m going to tone it down, but I didn’t have any trouble coming up with who I thought to be bad love interests. Unpopular opinions, ahoy!
5
Margo from Paper Towns by John Green. I’m not actually a fan of any of the females in his books, but Margo just frustrated me constantly. I still like this book best out of Green’s works, but mostly for that car scene. Best part.

Linden from Wither by Lauren DeStefano. I know he tried really, really hard … but he just didn’t get very far. Sorry bby.
3
Thomas from The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I know there was a pretty girl and there were things going on in your head, but boy. Calm down. This is not the time to use the wrong head. Yeesh.
2
Cassia from Matched by Ally Condie. Girl. Girl. You were so messed up to a certain someone that I can’t mention because spoilers. I cannot believe.

… I know. I’m sorry. He has the emotional range of a teaspoon and honestly shouldn’t have been a serious love interest in the time frame that he was, in my opinion. Sure, everyone deserves someone, but Ron. Honey. You needed a little more development before getting what you got. It was just too fast, for me. I know it actually wasn’t, but it felt like it.
And thus ends this week’s Top 5 Wednesday. See you next week!
I didn’t mind Ron or Cassia, but I definitely agree about Margo and Thomas! I hated both of those romances!
