Top Five Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by GingerReadsLainey over on Goodreads. This week’s topic is Biggest Book Hangovers and wowie do I have some options under my belt. I get book hangovers over pretty much everything, to be honest. I had some trouble narrowing it down. But, here are my biggest book hangovers.

The only reason Carry On by Rainbow Rowell gave me such a massive book hangover was because I read the damn thing non-stop for basically a whole day. It seemed to go way too fast and I wasn’t ready for it to end. Now I’m kind of just in a Rowell hangover overall.

I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson was a wild ride, and I needed to take a breather after setting it down.

If you’ve ever read Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys, then you probably know why it’s on here. I got one for her other book, Salt to the Sea, too, but not as big of one.

I wasn’t ready for this one when it happened and had to sit and simmer for a long while after it had all ended. And read the last chapter like five times over just so I could accept what had happened. Not that I didn’t like it, I just wasn’t ready for it.

I’m actually still suffering from this one, even after all these years.
(Always.)
And that was my Top 5 Wednesday for the week! Thanks for reading!
Its amazing how many people are still impacted by the Harry Potter books. She did a heck of a job. My Book Hangovers.
