Man, not as good of a reading month as March, but still pretty good! I knocked out 9 books and took part in 3 readathons.
What I read this month:
This is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp // ★★★★☆ // Review
School Spirits // ★★★★★
Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris // ★★★★☆
The Help by Kathryn Stockett // ★★★★★
Waiting for Unicorns by Beth Huatala // ★★★★☆
Life and Other Near-Death Experiences by Camille Pagan // ★★★★☆ // Review to come
Crewel by Gennifier Albin // ★★★★☆ // Review
Altered by Gennifier Albin // ★★★★☆ // Review
Unraveled by Gennifier Albin // ★★★☆☆ // Review
TBR Takedown 3.5 || TBR // Wrap-Up
Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon || TBR // Wrap-Up
And, according to my Goodreads goal, I am one book ahead of schedule. Again, not fantastic, but pretty good considering my past years’ track records! I hope to keep it up as I go. I’m going to try to read more of my own books rather than library books, so as to keep up with my TBR Shelf goal. 17/34 of my read books isn’t bad, I don’t think, but I don’t want to lag behind on that. Especially when I’m aiming to knock out 60.
Anyway, thanks for reading!

I love David Sedaris. I gotta read Talk Pretty at some point. He’s such a great writer. And funnier than I expected when I first read some of his work.
Good job on all those readathons! I never had the attention span for em. Especially the 24 hour one. Kudos!!
