Top 5 Wednesday | Books I Wish Had Sequels (or Prequels)

Top Five Wednesday is a weekly meme created by GingerReadsLainey and hosted Sam from Thoughts On Tomes over on Goodreads. This week’s topic is top 5 books I want sequels for. Since I ended up having a lot of trouble with this one, however (there really aren’t many that I want sequels from that aren’t getting a sequel), two of these will be for prequels instead of sequels. Though, sequels for these would also be appreciated, I just don’t know what they could be about.

5 – Fangirl

Just an update or a companion or something, it doesn’t have to be strictly Cath. Can we have Wren’s POV, maybe? Or how Cath’s getting along in college?

Or, alternatively, more Carry On? I mean, no idea where that would go, but hey. I’m not picky.

4 – The Night Circus

The twins! More of the twins! They’re growing up and they’ve got *spoiler* with them, let’s have a sequel about them!

3 – The Gone Series

I want to know what happened to everyone. I love, love this series and I always wonder how they coped with everything that had happened, along with how the world took on the fact that dozens of children got trapped under a dome. Alone.

2 – The Hunger Games

A prequel for this one, unless Suzanne Collins can think of a good idea for a sequel series. What about a book for Haymitch’s game? Or, for that matter, anyones’? Finnick? The first Hunger Games ever held? There are so many possibilities!

1 – Harry Potter

Would have fit, but we’re getting a sequel.

Now for a prequel. Marauders, please?

Pretty please?

  1. Carry On could have gone on for so much longer, I would love to know about the boy’s schooling life! All those near death experiences that were referenced, but in whole books… And I need more Marauders!!! Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy about what we’re getting, but MARAUDERS!!!
