Blogtober Day 7 // Tea Pls

I didn’t wait until the very end of the day to start writing this time, go me.

Today consisted of working, shopping, helping my dad configure his new TV, and then more YouTube with a side of reading. Not the most exciting day, but what else is new. This is a daily thing, right? Fun things are coming later in the month.

Okay, yeah, I’m a little salty about the cancellation of my Disney fun, but that’s not their fault. Damn you, Matthew.

(No, really. Have you been watching the news on him, if it’s showing stuff about it in your area? It really is a horrible thing that’s happened. The storm, not the event cancellation.)

While shopping today, I picked up a new mint tea to try, because I love me a good mint brew. Steep? Whatever, I like tea. A lot, especially kinds of the mint variety.

This particular one is called Paromi Tea in their Peppermint flavor, and it’s a gunpowder green tea mixed with peppermint leaves that even says you can steep it twice. That doesn’t happen very often with prepackaged teas. It was a little pricey, too, at $10 for 15 satchels (I’m cheap af okay), but once I made myself a cup I did not regret the purchase in the slightest. This might slide up there into my list of favorite teas, right between Daunt’s Sugar Puppy and Teapig’s Popcorn Tea. It’s a really nice gunpowder green tea and the mint is very prominent in the flavor, provided you don’t burn the heck out of it. Which I accidentally did the first go because I pushed the wrong temperature on my Breville. Oops.

Still, good tea! Very happy with this one. They have a few others in the store, so once I make my way through this jar I might just go back for another one.

Aside from that, the rest of the day was relatively uneventful. Just a lot of YouTube and a bit of Sheltered, which is pretty much the only game I can run on my laptop without causing the whole thing to panic and freeze. Not much else to comment on!

Until tomorrow!
