Yep, that’s right, Camp NaNo is right around the corner (like, two days away), and I’m gearing it up and ready to roll when it comes.
What am I doing for Camp?
Revising my first draft from NaNo! Yes, okay, I didn’t actually win NaNoWriMo last year, but I got a good … uh, almost 28,000 words out of it, so it’s time to revise! Not too difficult of a goal, but I still have work and such, so I’ll be way too busy to do a full revival of anything.
It is still 89 pages of scenes that need rewriting and connecting, though. I’ve printed them all out and they’re ready for a physical revise and then a digital one.
And then, when that’s done … I have no idea what I’m going to do with the story, honestly. I don’t think it’s going to be good enough for any sort of publishing, so I might stash it away to stew for a while, until I’m ready to try again at it? It depends on how I manage to flesh it out this time.
I may post it on Wattpad, though. I’ve never used the site before (I use AO3 for fanfiction) and I sort of want to join in and try it? And if the story’s not good for actual publishing, then maybe it’ll be good to sit on there a while until I’m ready (if I ever am) to go back to it.
Ah, this is just me rambling at this point. But, what else is new?
Anyway, Camp NaNoWriMo is on the horizon, and I’m ready to take it on!
