Weekly Recap || May 6, 2017

Whew. Was feeling okay for a minute there, but now I’m not feeling so great again. It’s been a week, stop being sick, me!

Still not getting an amazing amount of reading done, but I am reading some. It’s better than nothing, I guess.

What I Read:

Looks like I’ve been reading a lot, but I haven’t. I finished up Definitely Dead and am about halfway through my reread of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone that I’m doing with my mom, but I only read about 4 chapters of Clockwork Princess this past week, and just started on Crooked Kingdom.

What I’m Listening to:

I’ve picked up the audiobook for Pretties and I’ve started a re-listen of Welcome to Night Vale, which I haven’t bothered keeping up with since … (looking at my Podcast app) 2013. Whoops. I really liked it, too, at the time. I first started listening to it because I went to a writer’s conference and the person speaking for the songwriter’s panel wrote a song for the podcast (Dan Bern, he wrote the song for ep. 5, I think?), and I had picked up the podcast because we were encouraged to read things from the authors before going to the conference. Welcome to Night Vale came up as one of the search results when I Googled him.

Rambling. Anyway, I missed it, so I went back to it. I still like it just as much as I did before, but the fandom puts me off just a little. (I think that’s just Tumblr, though. Tumblr is … interesting.)

What Else I’m Doing:

… Not a lot. Playing Story of Seasons. Wooing my digital bachelor. Working.

Yeah. I lost my voice, but once it’s back I’d like to record a new video for YouTube.

Side note: is Jetpack acting weird for anyone? It’s acting up for me. I don’t like it.

Anyway, thanks for reading!
