I know I’m late to this party, but I’m still playing the app daily (DAILY, I’m determined to finish my regional dex and these events are all I need atm), so I think I can pull this up and do it anyway. 😉
Let’s just cut my usual rambling and get into it, no?
I picked this up from The Life and Books of a GorJess Nerd (which was done forever ago … oops! I meant to do it much earlier), and it’s originally by Read at Midnight!
I honestly can’t remember what started my love of reading, because I’ve been reading for as long as I can remember (I actually remember getting in trouble in 3rd grade for reading during a math lesson instead of paying attention), but I know I was obsessed with the Warriors series and Harry Potter. I’m still obsessed with Harry Potter, honestly.
I’m not much of a classics person, honestly, because I haven’t read a whole lot of them, but I have a soft spot for Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
This one is hard to answer because I don’t usually lose interest in books just because of hype, but I guess I could say Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard? I own the book and have owned since its release but haven’t read it yet and don’t really feel like picking it up anytime soon. I will, eventually, but … eh.
Oh boy, can I answer Carry On by Rainbow Rowell for this one? It’s pretty much (and intended to be) a Drarry/Harry Potter knock-off, but in a good way? I never, ever shipped Drarry (I was such hardcore Dramione/Harmony trash and Drarry just didn’t fit in there for me), but Baz and Simon? Yes, please.
For a while, Cassandra Clare’s books were my answer for questions like this, but I’m actually almost now caught up with the series. The new answer would have to be the Throne of Glass series, which just keeps growing. It’s supposed to stop at six, though, right? Right?
God, every book? Ever? But Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli would be one that I started at like, midnight, and then spent the entire night reading because I couldn’t stop.
Oh. Well, I pretty much already answered this one. Whoops. I mean, I have dozens of OTPs, but. I also love Blue/Gansey and Ronan/Adam? Or, like, the Gangsey as a whole single OTP. Yes.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. That’s really all I have to say on the matter.
Have to agree, Harry Potter! (Just, no more Cursed Child. Give me the real shit!)
The Martian by Andy Weir. I’d heard great things, but I was not expecting it to be as absolutely amazing as it ended up being.
Again, Throne of Glass. Just hope it doesn’t let me down.
Harry Potter 20th anniversary editions! I want all of them, but I only have Gryffindor so far.
The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich. High hopes for this!
Casual side-glance at George R. R. Martin
Thanks for reading!
