Not really scary demons, just … demons.
Top Five Wednesday is a weekly meme created by GingerReadsLainey and hosted Sam from Thoughts On Tomes over on Goodreads. This week’s topic is top 5 books featuring a supernatural creature of choice. I went with demons, because ghosts seemed too easy and I apparently don’t read enough paranormal to really help my case when it comes to this topic.
Anywho.
5 – Sisters of the Moon series by Yasmine Galenorn
The most adult book series on this list, it’s kind of an urban fantasy sort of series. It’s been a hot minute since I read these, but I do remember a demon at some point.
4 – The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare
Technically, I guess the whole shadowhunters series books could count for this one, but I still only really got attached to TID, so I’m only including those.
3 – Falling Under by Gwen Hayes
Okay, I admit I haven’t read this in years and it’s likely very 2009-era YA with the demon part, but, you know what. Whatever. I’m including it.
2 – Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
How could I not?
1 – Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
I just enjoy this series so much, I had to include it.
