Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon Wrap-Up

Spent more than half of the day helping a friend with a rush cosplay, so I didn’t get a WHOLE lot of reading done, but I did get more done than I have in the whole week!

I didn’t read Night Film, though, because I had too many other books I was reading at the time, and was somewhat more invested in Deadly Cure than anything. Oops! Still on the list for the rest of the month, though.

I didn’t finish anything, but I did read:

The Scorpio Races: 136 pages read
It: 65 pages read
Deadly Cure: 81 pages read

Total pages read: 283 pages read

Not fantastic, but MUCH better considering the past few months I’ve been having with reading.

(I’m still so far behind, ugh. Gotta catch up!)

  1. Congrats about the reading progress. Sounds like plenty to me. Also I’m curious about the cosplay stuff (lol)…what was it?… haven’t done it …technically… but I did do a version of a character from one of my books (specifically, the mango tree faerie in my picture book With Grace) for my island’s Carnival mas(querade) and for a book fair did what one kid described (and I didn’t contradict him) as a pirate. Sidebar: I love your hair.

    1. Thank you! The cosplay pieces were a set of … er, we actually had no idea what to call them, but they were part of a a cosplay outfit for the male and female Commander Shepard characters from the video game Mass Effect! My two friends are wearing the outfits for Halloween (and possibly Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights? I forgot to ask), but can’t sew, so that’s where I came in. I use the term cosplay pretty much any time dressing up as a character is involved, so it sounds like you cosplayed to me! Awesome that it was from your own book, too! 😀
