I was actually thinking about doing this one as a video post, but if I were to still do that, I’d be doing a lot more than just five books. So, if I do end up doing it still, you can be sure that it’ll include these plus more, and this will just be my top 5.
Top Five Wednesday is a weekly meme created by GingerReadsLainey and hosted Sam from Thoughts On Tomes over on Goodreads. This week’s topic is top 5 books I’m thankful for.
5 – Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

This was one of the series, like to many others, that helped re-spark my love for reading in high school when I wasn’t sure I wanted to read much anymore.
4 – The Martian

Only just read it this year, but this book was hilarious, engaging, and impossible to put down and I think about it all the time.
3 – Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

Hands-down my favorite WWII historical fiction writer, Between Shades of Gray is the book that got me started reading the genre when I realized I liked WWII fiction just as much as I liked non-fiction.
2 – The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

I still think about the Ganges frequently and without hesitation. I just love them so much.
1 – Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

Now, you knew this one was coming. There’s no way you didn’t.
