Confessions of a Literary Addict

I’ve been doing a lot of audio things lately (okay, just mostly music, podcasts, and audio books) thanks to my job, which allows me to listen to things on my phone as I work. Because of that, I’ve accumulated a few new faves I’ve had on repeat as I go along, and I decided it was time I made another one of these. Cool? Cool.

Music!

At the very top of my list is High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco, which should be absolutely no surprise to anyone. God, I love this song so much. I can’t stop listening to it. I’m listening to it right now as I type this.

(I’ll forever stan for the original trio (P!atD, FOB & MCR) of my high school career okay. Always.)

Another relatively new one, I listened to this one the entire two flights I had going to NC for Animazement. I love it.

Now, I love Sleeping at Last’s entire Atlas album, but Sun in particular has been crammed in my brain on repeat one: because it’s my favorite, and two: because I found a mashup for it, and we all know how much I LOVE mashups.

And here is said mashup. It took me a couple listens to really get into it, but now I’m pretty obsessed with it.

Keeping it on a still-sort-of-spacey theme, I found this one on 8tracks ages ago and finally decided to purchase it on iTunes to listen to again, and realized why I saved it in the first place.

And to wrap it up, I just came back from an anime convention and I always leave them needing to listen to BTS, despite technically being more of a Girls’ Generation kind of fan. (BTS is cool and all, but I’ve always been a little more interested in female Kpop groups than male ones, and I think it’s because female groups were the big thing when I first started listening to Kpop.) This was the one I chose to jam to during the con between our constant need to repeat Africa by Toto.

(Don’t ask. It was a thing. Anyway.)
