Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon Wrap-up! [October 2018]

That was actually a pretty successful readathon for me, for a change! Usually I don’t do so well with the 24-hour ones, but I set the pace for myself a lot slower this time around and stuck to audiobooks, and that helped a lot.

I was able to listen AND play the Sims. It was a good combo! I got so caught up in both at one point I looked at the clock to see it was about 2 am, told myself one more hour of gaming and reading, and then looked back at the clock again to find it was 5 am.

In short: that ended up being an all-nighter indeed. But worth it!

Here’s what I read:

a discovery of witches

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
Total pages read: 50

Status: Incomplete

wicked lovely

Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Total pages read: 328

Status: Complete

Ink exchange

Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
Total pages read: 325

Overall Stats:

Total pages read: 703
Total books read: 2

Not bad, I think! Thank God for audiobooks! I may have to continue the trend of playing video games while listening because it sure does make the book fly by in a blink!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Intrigued to see what you think of A Discovery of Witches. I love the book and the series as a whole but I sampled the audiobooks the other day and wasn’t a huge fan. Then again, I’m very picky when it comes to audiobook narrators.
