How is it already June?
Seriously, how? What happened? Where did May go?!
Ugh. Okay. Wrap up, that’s what we’re here for. I read… 18 books? Oof.
(I had to triple-check that, because it felt like way less, but, yes, I apparently did read 18. Audiobooks really do make everything easier!)

I feel you on the ratings for Melissa De La Cruz. I’m always kind of on the fence on her works. Sometimes it’s alright, other times not.

Exactly! I used to like her work a lot more when I was younger, but nowadays she just… doesn’t always really hit what I want out of the story.

Me too! The witchy series was my favorite! And then I tried Blue Bloods several years later and nearly threw the first book out a window.

I haven’t read that one yet! I’ll have to get on it, because I do actually enjoy her Isle of the Lost series, but, man. Blue Bloods was just not what I’d hoped it would be.

Yeah, it was actually pretty decent, so I’d say give that one a chance.
For me, Blue Bloods didn’t make enough sense at the end given what the character had been through. I believe she knew she was being followed by someone and she got off the bus one stop away from her house because she needed the exercise. Didn’t buy that at all.

That was such a great reading month! 18 books??? Crazy!
I read The Chalk Man last year and loved how dark it was.
