Confessions of a Literary Addict

June was a kicker, honestly. Even though I read 18 books (again), so many of them were very meh and only got two or three stars. It was a little frustrating, but I’m also backreading a lot of books I’ve had for years, and I kind of knew I wasn’t going to be ecstatic about them.

I don’t know why I’m being so incredibly picky this year with giving out the five stars, though, but I am. If a book isn’t absolutely perfect in my eyes (Like Birthday almost was), it doesn’t get five stars. It gets a four-point-five, which is almost perfect, but no five.

Oh well.
