19 in 2019 Wrap-Up!

So you may remember back in December of last year I pulled nineteen books out of my TBR jar that I had to read in 2019 in order to help plow my way through my ever-growing hoarding problem book collection.

The good news is: it worked! I read all of the books!

(Well, okay, I’m in the middle of the very last one as of writing this, but it’s technically a reread, so I have a strong idea of how I’m going to end on it.)

The bad news is: oof, there were some DUDS. Some of these books were collected in my early twenties, and it shows. (I’m 28 now, for reference. Yeah. I have a problem, that’s why we’re doing this again next year. I just really love books, and my library has an awesome sale TWICE a year. It’s a perfect storm.)

I’m not going to be doing more than just giving the star ratings for each book in this post, but I talk a little bit about each book in the accompanying video at the end of this post (update: it’s not up yet due to the computer I use to edit dying on me, so stay tuned there!), so if you’re curious for a little reasoning, feel free to check that out!

And now: the final wrap!

And there it is! As you can see, I was not the nicest rater for … well, any of these. I don’t know if I was just being particularly harsh this year or something, but oof. Not a good pull, but I’m not upset I read them!

I’m super excited to do it again for 2020, so stay tuned if you want to see what I pull!

Thanks for reading!
