Oof. This month? Possibly the worst I’ve had since I was in college back in 2014. But, honestly, I’m pretty okay with that. I’m going to keep trying to do better, but I’m not going to beat myself up for my struggles reading considering all that’s going on.
I read 7 books this month, 3 of which were pretty chunky, honestly.
Eona by Alison Goodman // ★★★☆☆
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas // ★★☆☆☆
The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampites by Grady Hendrix // ★★★☆☆
Shadow Souls by L.J. Smith // ★☆☆☆☆
The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich // ★☆☆☆☆
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch // ★★★☆☆

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien // ★★★☆☆
20 in 2020:
- Hereafter by Tara Hudson
- Black City by Elizabeth Richards
- The Princess in the Opal Mask by Jenny Lundquist
The Alchemyst by Michael Scott- Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien- Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
Saving Fish from Drowning by Amy TanVamps by Nancy A. Collins- Splintered by A.G. Howard
The Dress Lodger by Sheri Holman- The Blessed by Tonya Hurley
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
- Ashes of Twilight by Kassy Tayler
- Breathe by Sarah Crossan
Dark Places by Gillian Flynn- Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer
- The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard- The Last Wife of Henry VIII by Carolly Erickson
7 books is still good for all that’s been happening! Any reading is a plus. You just have to do what you can to keep yourself sane. 🙂
