I can’t believe I almost forgot about this. I put four — FOUR — sticky notes all over the place reminding myself to sign up and write a post for this year’s first 24in48, and I still forgot. Curse you, ADHD!
Anyway. I remembered in time because I still have the notifications for their Twitter on. We’re all good.
(I’m so glad they’ve decided to start hosting the readathon again. While I understand why they wanted to stop, I love this readathon to death, and I am thrilled to get to take part in it again. Hopefully I’ll even get to read the group read, if my library has a copy!)
As usual, you can find the sign-up post on their website here, which will include a link to their Google sign-up form. I’ll be skipping the goals part I usually put in, mostly because 2021 is as much of a bitch as 2020 was, but I’ll at least go for a TBR. Part of that TBR will hopefully include Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender, as that is one of the chosen group reads. (The other is nonfiction, and I have trouble focusing on nonfiction most of the time, so we’re gonna skip that one.)
The TBR:
Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender // We Hunt the Flame & We Free the Stars by Hafsah Faizal
American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin // The Way You Make Me Feel by Maurene Goo
Is that too many books for a two-day readathon? Absolutely. Am I going to try to read them anyway? Also absolutely.
Okay, actually, I’m planning on starting some of these before the readathon starts and may end up finishing them for the readathon itself, that’s the only reason they’re included.
Thanks for reading!

Wow! that’s an impressive amount, i hope you get through them all 😀
Also, i read Felix Ever After and it’s an amazing book ♥ I hope you enjoy it as much!
Have a great readathon!

I’m about halfway through Felix Ever After. I’m enjoying it. I already read Remote Control by Nnedi Okorafor and I’m about to continue reading Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi. I won a copy of We Hunt the Flame but haven’t gotten to it yet. Hope to soon, but not lined up for this weekend. Have fun!

Oooh I really want to read Remote Control! I enjoyed her other work, Binti, and the premise of Remote Control sounded so cool when I saw it. Thank you!!

I really liked Remote Control! I still haven’t read Binti and I own the trilogy! lol. I thought I’d be able to squeeze it in this weekend but could not. Hopefully this month though.
