Three more books down from the 20 in 2021 TBR! AND I read all the books I wanted to read from my June TBR post!

Most of the book ratings weren’t really a surprise, but I was a little disappointed by the rating I gave Fugitive Telemetry. I love Murderbot. This one just didn’t hit me as well as the previous stories did. Regardless, though, I can’t wait for the next one. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of reading Murderbot’s views on humans. It’s so interesting.

I enjoyed the Renegades series, but the first book was by far the superior in the series. I really liked the idea of a villain being one of the POVs so you can actually see both sides, and I always love Meyer’s writing style. By the time I got to the second and third, though, they felt a little dry and drawn out, especially with one of the main plot points. Also, Nova was really dumb sometimes. I mean, I relate, but sometimes I just wanted to sit her down and tell her to use her brain first.

No five-stars, but I wasn’t really expecting any. Daughter of Moloka’i came closest, but I enjoyed the first book more than the second, so it was knocked down to a four-star.
