April 2023 Wrap-Up!

What a doozy of a month. I was expecting the burnout to be real this month, but, as it turns out, I managed to read 30 books. Or, well, books slash novellas, because some were not actually books, but they still count.

I’m not exactly sure how, if I’m honest. I know I’ve been ploughing through audiobooks because the work I’m currently doing allows me to pretty much zone out into whatever I’m listening to, but I hadn’t realized how much I was burning through until just now. I know I have my new book gumball machine to thank for the burst in physical reading, though! The want to use it is absolutely pushing me.

I’m really hoping I can keep this up, because it means I’ll get through my TBR so fast this way, and you know what that means? More books! Because the more I get off my physical TBR, the more I can buy πŸ˜€

Anyway, onto the wrap!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go finish the second book in the probably-will-never-be-finished Amber House trilogy and proceed to be wildly upset about it, because I am loving it and I’m angry about it.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Wow great month! Haven’t heard of some of these. I’ve been trying to read/listen to Boneshaker for yearrrrs. I should do it. lol. I think Wil Wheaton narrates? I LOVE HIM.

    1. Thank you!! I actually listened to the GraphicAudio versions for most of the Boneshaker books! I’m a HUGE sucker for those, I speed through them so fast! (Hard agree on Wheaton though, he’s so good)
